Seems as Sean Carter aka Jay Z aka King Midas has just landed his biggest fish for his Roc Nation Sports Nation agency. KD or Kevin Durant of OKC Thunder is set to ink a deal for Jay Z to represent him.

The Republican Brain: And no this is not an oxymoron.

TV's Dragnet detective Joe Friday frequently would implore: Just the facts ma'am.

This refrain, quite obviously, meant that he was not interested in emotionalism, personal conjecture or particular bias. In order to solve the case he relied on facts, accurate details and evidence.

This dedication to accurate details is not a skill-set transferred to politics by many of our friends on the right. Before reviewing the facts on a plethora of issues -- ranging from global warming, reasonable gun laws, health insurance, fair taxation and austerity vs. government stimulus -- right wing doctrinaires begin with emotionalism, name calling and over-the-top rhetoric:

No, I'm not putting him -- The Big O -- on Mount Rushmore, yet. However, I am certain that historians, removed from the anti-Obama hysteria, will properly evaluate the enormous success -- in spite of unprecedented GOP obstructionism -- of his presidency.

Bob Dole on GOP: Closed for Repairs

You may or may not have missed former Senate Majority Leader and 1996 GOP presidential candidate Bob Dole's observation on his modern day political party:

I think they ought to put a sign on the national committee doors that says ‘closed for repairs’ until New Year’s Day next year and spend that time going over ideas and positive agendas.
