Romney got jokes: Mitt makes a birther joke

As the Native Americans may say regarding Mitt The Ultimate Panderer Romney: Pale face speaks with Fork Tongue.

Out-of-one side of his mouth he whines about Team Obama's harsh campaign tone.

On the other side, Mitt continues to play the Dog Whistle for the most extreme elements of the GOP party -- read the Tea Party fringe.

Mitt's overtures to the Tea Party

His pick of Vp running mate Paul Ryan was a pandering move to appease this base. His sharing the stage with birther-nut and loud mouth Donald Trump was another example of Mitt reaching out to the far right conspiracy loonies in the GOPTP.

His tepid rebuke of Ted Nugent for his threatening comments directed to President Obama demonstrates his tolerance for anti-Obama offensive rants. Mitt was even scared to stand up to Rush after the -- she's a slut -- anti-Sandra Fluke diatribe.

But now Mitt got jokes.

In his best attempt to be the Tea Party version of Jay Leno -- the soooo not cool nor funny -- Mitt Romney stoops to the lowest and most racist elements of his party by cracking birther jokes.

Watch the video.
.

I would say Mitt keep your day job, but that has been running for president for the last 10 years. So, I will say: Mitt go back to hiding money at Bain Capital.

GOP Bosses to Todd Akin: Don't come to Tampa Convention

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus appeared on CNN's "Out Front" on Monday evening and spoke to Erin Burnett about the controversial statements made by Rep. Todd Akin, Missouri Republican, regarding rape. He called for Mr. Akin, who is running for Senate against Democrat Claire McCaskill, to "step aside and let someone else run for that office." Chairman Priebus also said that he "prefer that Todd Akin do the right thing for our party and our candidates" and "not come" to the upcoming RNC Convention in Tampa. source

Akins on abortion/rape:

"If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down"

Todd Akin may be persona non grata at the upcoming GOP convention in Tampa, but by a wide majority his abortion position -- banning of all abortions with no rape or incest exceptions-- is indeed warmly welcome.

As a matter of fact, Akin's abortion position mirror the party's ratified platform:

As Republican officials continue their attempts to persuade Rep. Todd Akin of Missouri to end his bid for the Senate over his comments about rape and abortion, GOP leaders adopted a party platform on Tuesday that calls for a constitutional amendment protecting “human life” but does not say whether exceptions should be allowed in cases of rape and incest.

According to a plank adopted by a 112-member Republican committee meeting here, an “unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life that cannot be infringed.” The platform also calls for legislation recognizing the rights of unborn children under the 14th Amendment.

That language would appear to be incompatible with exceptions when pregnancies result from rape or incest. source

And to further illustrate how welcome, familiar and comfortable the GOP is with Akin's positions: GOP Vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan and Akin have actively worked on legislation redefining forcible rape. So, the GOP big wigs have not only promoted the same Akin rape policy, they have even used the same verbiage.

In the world outside of the Taliban/Tea Party, we all know how egregious and offensive Akin's statement about Legitimate rape and forcible rape was:  to us, as President Obama stated, rape is rape -- period, end of sentence!

But to the Tea Party faithful -- whom have actively advocated the Akin abortion doctrine --what crime did Todd Akin commit?

The answer: He spoke aloud in front of mix company about what his party believes and what they were planning to do; and, we all know from childhood the consequences of telling family business and secrets in front of strangers -- you get punished and a strong rebuke.

In the pot calling the kettle black: The Tea Party/GOP leadership have accused Todd Akin of living in a insular environment and a parallel universe.

GOP Conservatives gone wild

The state of the Tea Party led GOP has certainly been entertaining lately -- you have to chuckle at their off the chart behavior -- it seems that their zany, xenophobic, hateful, sexist, anti-intellectual and racist ways are bubbling to the surface at warp speed -- and their general response is: blame it on Obama.

Let's take a peek at their latest, greatest hits:

GOP go skinny dipping in the Sea of Galilee

The FBI probed a late-night swim in the Sea of Galilee that involved drinking, numerous GOP freshmen lawmakers, top leadership staff — and one nude member of Congress, according to more than a dozen sources, including eyewitnesses.

During a fact-finding congressional trip to the Holy Land last summer, Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kan.) took off his clothes and jumped into the sea, joining a number of members, their families and GOP staff during a night out in Israel, the sources told POLITICO. Other participants, including the daughter of another congressman, swam fully clothed, while some lawmakers partially disrobed. More than 20 people took part in the late-night dip in the sea, according to sources who were participants in the trip.  source
